Buffalo YIMBY 2017 was presented by Designing to Live Sustainably with Tri-Main Center, the Board of Block Clubs of Buffalo and Erie County, and the City of Buffalo Division of Citizen Services.
Program Highlights Include:

Demonstrations, Exhibits, Presentations, Workshops, Short Talks and Table Talks by block clubs, organizations and individuals and organizations that are making change happen and are interested in having a positive impact on their communities.
Engage City Hall-
Come learn more about the daily interactions between the City of Buffalo and its citizens directly from City officials on topics ranging from Community Policing to the Buffalo Arts Commission. Each panelist will provide a brief overview of their work and then be open to questions from participants.
Go Green, Save Green-
Our esteemed panel of experts will focus on informing you on the many ways that you can be more sustainable in your everyday life at home and how adopting simple strategies are not only good for the planet and your community, but can save you money!

GoBike Buffalo & Buffalo Slow Roll- Spring bike tune-up and safety check. Representatives will also demonstrate how to commute to work effectively, basic strategies for choosing cycling routes, cyclist etiquette and NYS bicycle requirements such as lights & turn signals, and what GoBike offers at their workshop such as classes, events, and what is included with a GoBike membership.
30 Minute Creative Problem Solving Sessions:
Does your organization or neighborhood have a particular issue that has you stumped? Don’t know how to take the next step?YIMBY is your opportunity to learn how to use creative problem solving techniques to reach consensus in a fun and collaborative way! The International Center of Studies in Creativity and Joy Kuebler of Joy Kuebler Landscape Architect, PC will both be offering 30 Minute Creative Problem Solving Sessions! Groups who may be looking for a way to strengthen communication within your group, build trust, collaboratively and creatively problem solve, and establish a shared understanding of priorities, this is for you!
